Question PC wont turn on with new drive

I have recently bought a new harddrive from Microcent and after my purchase I went to install the drive. Everything went well until I went to turn on my pc and it would not even power on. I went to trouble shoot, I checked for any loose cables and I didnt find any. So I went to the next step and unplugged the new harddrive and the pc turned on. I then went on PC part picker and threw my settup into the partpicker to see if i was overloading my power supply. And I wasnt I still had a good overhead of electriclty to work with. Any ideas to why this might me happening?

Return the drive and get a replacement if you are SURE you are connecting the drive correctly.
