Hi.

I have just purchased the above mainboard. During first boot i recieve the
verbal message from the mainboard that VGA test failed.

I am using an old VGA card because i use the machine as a server. According
to the manual PCI VGA should be supported. The card worked perfect in my
older computer. I tried moving it to different PCI slots. Have i missed
anything?

Could there be comp. problems with older cards?

Kind regards
Kasper

You might have to setup the bios to ignore the AGP video, and allow the
video to be from a PCI slot. Try checking out the bios for something like
this. New boards with an AGP port are not really expecting to see a PCI
video card, and may need a little extra setup to be able to use one.
