Anyone know of any reviews comparing how the 8800GT runs in PCIe 2.0 vs. 1.x? I'm quite interested to see if it makes a difference yet! :)

Thanks in advance!

There will not be a difference.
The PCIE 1.1 bus is not close to being saturated.

Tests have shown the GTX will slightly saturate an 8x PCIE 1.x bus.
The 16x still have PLENTY of bandwidth to handle faster cards.

The only issue comes with some of the P35 SLI solutions that don't have DUAL 16x PCIE Slots.

Do you mean like, a 16x slot and a 4x slot for crossfire, and the 4x slot (if it were PCIe 2.0) would help out a lot since it's heavily over saturated since it needs a little over 8x bandwidth to function at full speed?

No P35 board supports SLI. Nvidia will not license the technology to Intel. Not even the x38 boards support SLI, only crossfire.

There have been reports of cards with hypermomory or turbo cache seeing improvements using the pcie 2 board but in general i would say that the diff wouldnt be relevant not unless you had such a card and wanted every frame you could get.

That's probably because the way you worded your thread. You make it look like you have reviews, then people click it and see you're just asking a question.

If you worded this thread properly with a question mark at the end and an "any" in front of reviews, you' likely would've had 7 reads and no answers.

Depends on what you mean by intel. Their motherboards dont support SLI but an NVidia motherboard with an intel CPU does.
