I have an old Windows XP x86 machine that I use for retro gaming and a few other such things. I need more USB ports, so I've been trying to install a USB expansion card, but haven't had any luck. I'm on my second attempt now, using a Sabrent CP-4PTU PCIe card. I know it's got power running through it, but when I try to install the drivers, I get the message "Sorry, the install wizard can't find the supported hardware in your system. You should check your hardware and try again. Please press OK to terminate the install wizard." I've tried both open PCIe slots with both cards I've purchased, and I've gotten the same results every time. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if it's a compatibility issue, or what. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. My motherboard is a Soltek SL-K890Pro-939 and the bios is the Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG, 1/4/2005. If you need any other information, please let me know. Thanks so much.

It's XP compatible, the Sabrent website says:

USB 3.0 4-Port PCI Express Card / XP/Vista/7/8 32-Bit And 64-Bit

If I can't get one of these to work, I guess a hub will be my next option.
