[SOLVED] People can hear my audio through my mic ?

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right thread forum but whenever I connect my Astros A40 to my pc with a 3.5mm splitter, my friends can hear what I can hear through my headset. But when I use a USB connection with my headset, its working fine. I want to use 3.5mm because I can use Nahimic audio controller to control my headset but I can't with the USB connection. I am using windows 10 with a MSI B360M mother board.

Stereo headset 3.5 jack has 3- sections with a mic does it have 4 see below for examples. If the front connection has the 3 sections and you plug in a 4 section you may short the mic to the L or R channel.

Maybe your mic is sensitive and can capture noise coming from the headset, if you use high volume, it's what my old headset used to do
