please tell me your opinion on this. i have Abit KR7A-RAID (kt266A), T-Bred B 1700@2350mhz, 2x256mb Corsair CAS2, 2x Maxtor 40gb (ata133, 7,2krpm, 2mb) in RAID 0 and Saphire Radeon 9700 (303/303)(latest omega drivers), WinXP Pro+SP1. when i play for example Call of Duty my game is chopi wathever the resolutio is when there is a lot of things going on arround me. is it possible that i'm just in a need for more memory. my virtual mem is set in the first partition with initial 1024/maximum 1024mb. would maybe another 512mb change the situation to much better or is it the problem with low fsb. would i get much better results if i buy a new nForce2 mobo with higher fsb and new memory with it affcourse (that's the investment that i'm trying to avoid if possible). thanks.

if you think the game, than that's not a problem because i have this problem with a lot of games. vietcong - fist alpha for example is impossible to play because because somethimes it' very slow. and i think that there's no prob. with win also. i have all the newest driver, SP1 and bazicaly my win runsflawlesly, never blocks or stuff like that. my friend yesterday told me that he runs CoD-UO without problems. he has Radeon 9500pro, but 1gb of ram. thanks.

What do your settings look like? Are you running 1600 with 8X AA and 16X AF? What Directx are you usuing? What Hyperions? Which Catalysts are you using?
There are lots of progs that dont play well together, and some hardware. Check with your XP CD for hardware compatability.
I guess what I'm saying is, you should have no problems with your hardware, in todays games. You may have conflicts, but all games should play great.

i always desable AA because it's impossible to ply with it. somethimes game works ok but moving and moving by mouse is always like slow. i'm using the omega drivers v4.7 (i changed a few at this time and always the same problem, i also used ogig. ati drivers). about hyperion, i'm not exacly shure witch version it is. i know that it's one of the last ones. can you tell me how to check exacly. i always run games from 800x600 to 1152x864 because new games will hardly work ok with highest detail settings with my config i ges. you think that my configuration is ok for today games? oh and i forgatt, the directX was 9b before nnow the newest 9c. maybe partial problem is with my virtual mem. i tryed living it at system managed, changed to manual but i didn't see any improvements. i have 2 partitions. on the first one i have win and programs and on the second one all the games. i should live Virtula mem on first partition in this case? thanks.

yes, that's maybe the best way but the problem is i have so many programs that it will take me a week to set everything up again, and i need my computer all the time (for work, for capturing, burning DVDs from DV sources,...).
