Phenom II 720 BE temperatures

Hi there, I've just built my new computer, and the processor is AMD Phenom II 720 BE. I ran Core Temp and my temperature level is around 40-45 degrees Celsius at idle, and on load (in games like COD4) it goes to 55-60 degrees. Do you guys think I should get a new CPU cooler to make it lower? I know the temperature is not bad, but I want my computer to have a longer lifespan. If you think I need a cooler can you recommend me one? Preferably $20-40 canadian dollars. Thank you

Your temps are perfectly normal for your 720. Save your money. I get suspicious of temps that are too low. I'd rather have an accurate reading.
