To expound a little further. The .inf is like a driver file for your
monitor. The only reason to install these is to use a custom color set
for your monitor.
You can try installing this, but the main cause is going to be the
resolution. If you have a flat panel monitor, you will want to run the
monitor at the native resolution (which is going to be 1280x1024). If
you are using a CRT monitor, you may want to check the refresh rate that
you are using. All of these can be changed through Display Properties
in the Control Panel
