Hello every one,
I'm having a question regarding a client's laptop.
It's a Dell Inspiron 15 3878 and the problem is that the pin from the charger is stuck inside the charging port. Here's how it looks like:
I found out that if you push the cable charger, it seems to work and laptop turns on and is working (the battery seems dead). My question is, is it safe to work like that, or would it be better to remove the stuck pin and buy a new charger?
When turning on the laptop, there is a message about incompatible charger being used (even though it's an original AC adapter and the model seems correct - I think it's due to the pin being damaged).
