Hi, so recently I've come across this issue when trying to play online games. The games that I play are CSGO and Apex Legends (Only play these two games, not sure if it will happen on others). So I either play on a 4MBPS ADSL Line or Fixed LTE (usually around 20MBPS), don't worry fibre is almost in my area then I'll be getting better internet. But basically, when I try to join a server my ping will spike from 40 to over 1000 and it keeps climbing, the highest I've seen it recently is +-5000, until I disconnect from the server.
This only happens on the ADSL, and it is just me on the internet when this happens. It doesn't happen to my brother when he plays online games, only when I try to connect from my PC. At first, the problem only arose when my brother was playing an online game and I would connect to a server, so I thought it was maybe an IP conflict so I set a static IP, helped for a bit. But now it's just me at the house and the problem is back, I have no idea what the cause is or when exactly it started.
