Pink Line of Pixels

Hi everyone. So I have a samsung syncmaster 2333, running off of a evga gts450. A while back (~4 months) the monitor began to flicker and eventually just stopped working, so I sent it in to samsung and they replaced it. About 3 weeks ago, a new problem developed. Occasionally, a pink line one pixel wide would come down the screen from top to bottom. When I pressed down on the top of the monitor it went away temporarily. As of today, when I press down on the monitor the pink line stays on its own. What is the cause of this problem, and do I need to send the monitor in to samsung again? Thank you.

It sounds to me like you may need a new monitor im afraid. I had a Samsung monitor in the past and I experienced a pink line of pixels going vertically down my screen.

At first I used to whack the side of the monitor - which worked! However it was a short term fix and it eventually stopped working altogether.

I'd suggest a new screen mate.

Thanks KIE! Yeah i had the same problem. If I whacked the side of it it went away, but now it doesnt. I guess ill just send it in again.
