"Plaid" Screen - from power button until welcome screen

Okay, I'm starting to fear the worst, but I'm hoping someone can help.

I built this computer a couple of months ago. Just a few days ago, I started getting a "plaid" pattern on all screens during bios before windows loads the drivers itself. I have heard that I am not the only person to experience this problem, but I am hesitant to blame it directly on the graphics card for a couple of reasons. First of all, why does it work fine once I enter Windows? Why did it start so suddenly?

Here are the things I have tried so far:

Flashing BIOS to latest version, restoring defaults.
Updating CATALYST, restoring defaults.


My humble opinion thinks it might have to do something with the card itself's BIOS/Firmware. What do you all think?

just try and forget about it, your computer works in windows be glad of that

It makes BIOS setup rather hard to read though.....

on the back of the card there's two monitor connectors try your monitor in the second one see if that helps

Oh, I just started a Sapphire support ticket too. Time to deal with their horrible customer support as well. I'm still open to suggestions.
