Was having a problem with our old scanner, a ScanPartner 15c, so I replaced our old scanner with a Visioneer 8650. I connected through the parallel port. Everything seamed to be working fine until today. The error
I am receiving is this: Imaging! You are dangerously low on disk space. It is recommended that you free up some disk space and restart Imaging.
Why am I getting this error? The hard drive that all this information is being sent to, is a 20gig drive with 16gig free. Could it be the file size thats causing the problem? And why does it drop the network connection to this drive?

Please help me if you can. Thanks.

When you scan, no matter where your target directory is, you need local space for the software to store it's temp files on before it sends them over the network or where ever to place the end result of your scanning.
