Hi folks. I'm upgrading my computer and I'm looking for an SLI. I own a Gigabyte gtx 460 1gb OC edition and I'm more than happy with it, I wanted the same card to make the SLI but even though I searched all the hardware stores in my city I couldn't find one, and it's most likely I'll have to go for EVGA. The question is, making it with EVGA will work as expected? Is there some change of imcompability between the two cards?

The system expecs are as follows:

Board Gigabyte 990 FXA ud3
G skill ripjaws 8gb (2x4) 1600Mgz
PSU Rosewill green series 700w
Gigabyte GTX 460 1gb OC

Thanks a bunch!

There are some Gigabyte 460 1gb OC cards for sale on ebay.

But to answer your question, as long as you use a GTX 460 1gb card, you should be fine. I believe the cards' clocks will be automatically set to the lowest card's clock. You should be able to still manually OC together though. I haven't personally mixed card makers with SLI but I've heard it works in theory.
