hello

can i put a corsair 550vx psu on my MS-7613 mobo? and will a hd 5850 run on that psu because it has only 41 amps on the 12v+ rail.

The corsair 550vx will work with your mother board and it will power a hd 5850. Here is a link to corsairs power supply finder: http://www.corsair.com/psufinder/default.aspx

If you put in your computers information you will see that the 550vx shows up in the recommended list.

41amps is a lot on a single rail. That's one of the reasons Corsair makes top quality PSUs. That beefy rail will have no problem powering your 5850.
