I have a 21" Hewlitt Packard model number A4033A. Everytime I try waking my computer from sleep mode, my monitor will wake up and have all these lines running across it, and the only way I can get them to go away is if I reboot my system. For some reason it only does it when it's in sleep mode. Something about waking up from sleep mode makes the monitor flip out. Does anyone have any thoughts on why it might do this? Any thoughts would be great. Thanks!

Its probably your vid card. Tell us some more about your pc. I don't think thats a monitor problem sounds more like a Vid card problem.

Make sure you are using power manager in either windows or BIOS, not both. Sounds similar to a problem I had when both were enabled.

My system is as follows:

Mobo: A7M266
CPU: Tbird 1.2 266
Mem: Micron 256MB DDR
HDD: IBM 60gxp 40GB
VC: GForce Ultra
SC: Philips AE
DVD-ROM: Toshiba 16X

That's pretty much it. If it is vid card problem what might it be?

Do you have the latest drivers for your vid card???

Also check out nvidia's site after that. If the elsa drivers don't work.
