Okay so the mircocenter is sold out of the motherboard i wanted and i don't think they are getting them back in stock

but i am looking at some that the mircrocenter have in stock and i was wondering if this one is any good.

For only $5 more, I would buy the Asus board.

The asus you selected also has a Z68 chipset, so it has a newer feature set (ssd caching and hybrid video) and will support the next CPU release. The P67 chipset may or may not support new ivy bridge chips.

thanks, do they both have the same capabilities as well as expansion in pci-e ports?
will they both run similarly?

They will both run similarly and both have the same slots. The Z68 board is about 6 months newer so it has the features I listed earlier in addition to all the features of the P67.
