Please suggest a motherboard for core i5 2400

System Usage:
I will use this machine in a software development environment with complex software stack and multiple local servers. So it should be high performance. Need to have Linux and Windows in a dual boot mode. High end graphics not required and hence I don't plan to buy separate graphics card. Will rely on onboard graphics. I also need two IDE ports to connect my existing hardware. Plan to buy 6 GB RAM.

1. I am interested in small form factor, preferably micro ATX
2. Don't need many upgrade options as I don't plan to upgrade in new future. I mentioned this because I have a tight budget.

its dual channel memory and since there arent 3GB DIMMS you need to either get 4 or 8GB. otherwise you lose half your bandwidth.

Since you need to rely on your IGP you will have to use a board with an H61, H67, or Z68 chipset on it.

There are very few LGA 1155 boards out there with one IDE port and I couldn't find any with two, but you could use an IDE to SATA converter or get a PCI-E card with IDE ports on it.

RAM for LGA 1155 boards should be dual channel, so either get 4GB (2X2GB) or 8GB (2X4GB).

Thanks for your suggestions. Will look into the links you provided.

I noticed that H61 boards are much cheaper than H67 or Z68 boards. What all do I miss if I go for H61. As I mentioned above I don't require high end graphics. Also as it will be a development machine I need to connect only limited number of devices. So don't require zillions of ports.
