Hello,I have a geforce 210 video card taht was given to me as a gift. i want to know if it will work on the asrock 785gm mobo. i will upgrade to ddr3 memory but keep my amd 7750 cpu. thanks for any help given to me regarding this.

It will work and you do not need to upgrade your memory because of the card! The Vram on the card and your system ram are two separate items that do not need to be the same.

ok, cauze i currently have an ecs 7050m-m mobo that has virtually no overclocking potential for the cpu. dats why i want to get another mobo. the bad thing is that i can only get the asrock or stay with the ecs.

Careful with an "upgrade". A lot of things just cost money and don't actually improve your computer. If you list what you have now, what you want to do, and how much money you're willing to spend, we can help you with upgrade suggestions.

It might be cheaper to build a new machine than to upgrade an old one so that it can overclock.

GeForce 210 video card: Will play movies well and games very poorly. It will work on ALL modern PCs (w/ a PCI-e slot).

OK thanks. the problem is that where i live, the best card available is the geforce 210 and the 9500GT and the RadeonHD 4650. it costs about $200 Bze. Dats about a $100 US. i know its not much of an upgrade. i had a 8500gt that worked gud. That died on me. I really like playing PC games but my budget doesn't allow for much improvement.

These are my current PC specs:
Amd 7750 BE CPU(2.7Ghz)
Geforce GT 210 Video Card
DDR2 800MHZ (2x2GB)
500GB Sata HDD
ECS 7050M-M V2.0 Motherboard
600 watt CoolMaxPSU (38 Amps 12V rail)
1440x900 resolution monitor.

Out of the cards you say are available then from best to not so good for gaming HD4650, 9500GT and GT210. I would just stick with the ECS board until a full system upgrade becomes possible

yo pal i got same cpu and other stuff i had a the gt 8500 and bought a 5550 for the same price it really improves tho not big of an upgrade if u want a tight budget gamin card go fot the 5750 or the nvidia 250
