Hi guys,
It's been a while since I've posted here, but I noticed an odd benchmark whilst I was using UserBenchmark.

I'm using a Palit RTX 2070 and I use ThunderMaster to slightly overclock it, have been for a little while now. I use my PC for gaming mostly and your typical internet browsing activities.
I've had the GPU since 2020 and I can't say I had any issues with it so far, so here goes:

This is the result I got 6 months ago when using UserBenchmark.
Now following is the result from today which is after I have taken apart the computer to clean it (bear in mind I had cleaned it because I already knew the benchmarks were looking quite low).

I'm struggling to understand why in the 6 month gap the card is getting such a poor bench?
I've also used FurMark and this is the score I got:

Comparing that to the scores on the FurMark website, am I understanding correctly that by their scores my GPU is performing at the level of a bloody Radeon 6970?

I'm going a bit mad, it's not like the GPU isn't performing in games at 1440p but something here is amiss surely?
One more thing which I don't know if it has anything to do with the GPU, every startup when I literally boot into my desktop I get a black screen for a second or so...
Any help will be appreciated,
Thanks,
Ozikkk

What about in a benchmarking suite thats not really just a quick dirty toy to get the system's specification without asking prior?

Try either Unigine Superposition or 3DMark Time Spy.

So I figured out what the issue was, but it was really thanks to you as you put me on the path of downloading 3DMark, when I launched it I saw that it warned me about Vsync, so I checked my Nvidia control panel settings to find that my Vsync option had been turned on, as soon as I turned that off all the benchmarks for the GPU are as I'd expect. Thanks a lot friend
