CONNECTOR QUANTITY
That PSU does have PCIe 2x 8pin (6+2). The cable have writing on it. The one you want is "PCIE". You plug the 8 pin side to your PSU and the 6+2 pin on your GPU. |
In summary, I have a new pc build with a gtx 1660 that has an 8 pin power slot, my modular psu has only a 6 pin pre attached cable and doesn't power the card, will I be able to use an 8 pin male cable plugged into the vga slots on the psu?
That PSU has 2 8-pin(6+2) pci-e connectors. My mistake originally posting in the CPU forum, my PSU is an EVGA 650 BQ, 80+ Bronze 650W semi-modular, here is a link too https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01H78DJJQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
