I removed all external cables, and disconnected all power cables inside the computer. Plugged power cord back in, green light solid.

Then, one at a time, reconnected each power cable inside. Green light started flashing again when I got to the ATXPWR1. Can someone tell me what this means please, and what I can do about it?

The PC is a Compaq Presario SR1910NX

Thank you!

@Hang-the-9 Power wouldn't go on at all. I messed with it a lot last night and found out that it was the power supply. I swapped it with one I had in a computer with blown capacitors. It's working great now!

There is an amber light in the front now, below the green light by the power switch. I don't remember it being amber before, hope it's not a sign of something wrong.

You can look up the light code with the PC vendor. Only way to know if it's good or not. For example if you see an orange light on a network card it may mean it's a 1 gig connection or maybe a bad signal depending on the card model. That is why I said earlier to ignore whatever you were saying about the lights, the issue is what is happening with the system not that there is a light flashing or not.
