I found a 9800x3d and want to build now with the 6650xt and then find a 5080 or maybe a 5090 if it is really that good.
Are there power supplies that will support both the 8 pin on the 6650xt and the new card? btw my super old power supply is dying and not modular so i don't want to use it.

What is the make and model of your PSU and it's age?

I would ask you to wait until the RTX5080's are announced/released and then invest on a PSU alongside the GPU purchase.

To answer your question;

Yes there are PSU's that have both PCIe 8(6+2) pin as well as the 12VHPWR/12V-2x6pin harnesses. This is one example;

it is a evga 600 watt bronze. Not exactly a champion. I'd say it is about 8 years old. I'm going to buy the pc parts and have a computer shop build it thats why i want to use a new one. I know the 600w power supply isn't nearly enough for the 5080-5090 if i was vague
