Power supply problem

i bought an antec power supply when i first got my pc , however after six months it broke . to get i refund i had to send it to the us so i just got this power supply http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/110765766560?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_719wt_905 . its rated 72% of the 700w so i figured it would work . it worked fine even when gaming but when i turned on my pc my keyboard and mouse just stopped working , i tried them on my laptop but they didn't work . so im wandering if its the power supply or something else . maybe from turning of my pc from the plug without shutting down or my motherboard .

could it also be having lots of things in the same socket.
