Question Power Supply Upgrade/GPU

I have a HP Compaq Elite 8300 and want to upgrade it from a 250w to a 350w. First of all, will a RX 6400 graphics card work on a 250w at all? if not, where can I get a power supply thats compatible with my computer. What is compatible with it, price, location.

Which form factor of the prebuilt workstation do you have? How old is your current PSU at this point? if it's the unit that came bundled with the prebuilt, then you will need a higher wattage PSU even if it was new.

This is a refurbished computer. I bought it 2 years ago. I have a Small Form Factor PC. I bought a low profile RX 9400

RX 6400 performs very bad in a PCIe3.0 slot and the PCIe slot in your system could be PCIe2.0 so the performance is even worse. You better look for a low profile GTX 1050 Ti or GTX 1650.
