Question Power usage spikes on cpu

Cpu spiking on normal usage, while opening the browser or downloading games from steam it goes to 75-80W with tdp being 65W, while playing games is even worse, the biggest spike i saw was 120W and a lot of 95W too.
Already restored bios config to default settings and it did nothing

That is how modern intel cpu work. You would have to look the numbers up for a 11400 cpu.
There is a rate called pl2 that the cpu will burst to for short periods of time.

The default numbers for say a 14900k and most other higher end cpu are 125 pl1 and 253 pl2. So on those cpu you will spikes to 253 or even higher if you override the values.
