Powerful desktop used via laptop?

Hello, Is there a way to use a desktop computer (and all it's power) thru a notebook? Using a cheap notebook like a keyboard/monitor for the desktop.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I want the power of the desktop for gaming with the portability (anywhere in my house) of a wireless netbook.

I am wondering if I can use a cheap netbook in place of my keyboard and monitor on my desktop (and still have all my desktop's superior hardware being used).

You can, but it won't work for 3d acceleration, and the performance isn't great. Look into Remote Desktop.
