Printer issue!

Hi All,

I have a HP Photosmart 2710 and I have a rogue process HPZipm12.exe.

This process just keeps using memory leaking all over the place. It starts automagically and my searches on the net didn't tell me much about it.

Does anyone know if this can be shut down and if so, how?

I have not tried. Although its a networked printer, so Its not plugged into my machine. just connected over my LAN.

You don't have to install the utilities etc... for a LAN printer do you? I've never done it and my LAN printers have always functioned just fine.

When I bootup this process is at around 30k, and slowly it rises. Last night it was in the 600k area.

I know it's not a virus or spyware because this is a fresh windows install. Plus its a program mentioning on the HP site. I was unsure if anyone else has this file, or has seen it.
