Problelm with Java

I can't get anything to work that requires Java. Also, windows media
palyer, windvd, and msm messenger stoped working at the same time. I
try to reinstall Java and wmp neither did any good. The problem
started when my computer got attacked with a lot of ad/spy-ware. I
have cleaned all of this up carfully, and fixed that problem. What
could be causing the problem?

Try going to run,type:cmd In cmd type:jview If all reports ok,what version
are you running,the last for MJVM was around july 2003,its 5.0 i believe.
