So, my boss gave me his old desktop to change the old case.

While it went fine, i am stuck with the gpu cpnnection to psu.

(Sorry my image just wont upload)

Just in case the link wont open,
Thhe gpu is nvdia 970, it has 12 pin socket connection to psu, and the pci e cable this psu has is 6 pin x 2.

Weird thing is that if you put 6 pin x 2, it wont display the monitor.
If you connect 6 pin x1, it does display the monitor, but gpu doesnt work ( i assume so since gpu fan doesnt spin)

Is there anything i can do with this situation?? Like, is there cable that somehow makes 6 pin x2 to 12 pin x1?
Or answer to why 6 pin x 2 wont display the monitor but 6 pin x1 does?
