Having issues with my Brother MFC L2710DW where scanning images has a blurred section on it as attached

Yes that's what the issue is

It's either the feed rollers slipping in the lid or the scanning head is hanging up on the rails under the glass. It all depends upon just exactly how you obtained that sample. Either way it requires disassembly and cleaning/lubrication. It can also be dirty glass not allowing the original to slide through without sticking. Do NOT use any type of ammoniated glass cleaners on copiers/scanners.
