Relax, I think he's messing around, ninja!

What the hell happened here?
Well, it all started when people were like "yeah, baby! I messed with coolbits and now I'm the shit!" so we thread-jacked, went insane, thread-jacked some more, Comptia ate some bad fast food, and now the thread is as you see it.

Dude you've fried 3 already, how about not OC'g the card & buy a faster one instead since you haven't gotten a handle on how to OC. Once it's toast its toast & no warranty dept will allow an RMA on a fried card due to OC. They will laugh at you say no dice you violated the warranty & hang up.

One way to heal a VPU is to replace it and stop overclocking!

We cal that common sense. No offence, but if that's the third time that you burn a VPU by overclocking, maybe it would cost you less to get a better performiong model (and more expensive by definition) and leave it at stock speed.

Hey man, be nice. Why can't we all get along??? 😉

what is this Mr. Rogers neighborhood? the Barney show?Brittany Spears in concert? 😛

Dude, are you dissing Mr. Rogers, Barney, or Britney Spears???? That's just bad luck. :x

Mr. Rogers is dead, Barney is white trash, and Britney Spears? That's just kicking her while she's down. Hahaha. Bad luck to you for 10 years now 😉.

You used a vaccum cleaner! 8O 8O

Not a good idea...
we need to add this one to our list that you started.remember the red large fonts 😛

Yeah, we need a list of the dumbest things done to PCs.
We could call it "Pulp" Friction, or "Track"Logic... ...  "Track "and "Logic" in the same sentence. That's funny.

Here's a couple. Feel free to add your own.

1. Don't use a vaccum to clean the dust from anything in your PC.
2. The CD/DVD drive is NOT a cup holder.

Oh my. Another victim of the industrial waste (e.g. trans fat) that Micky D serves claiming it's food.

...and the jacking continues...
Thread jacking? Not on my watch! Tell me who's jacking and I'll kick their a$$!

Yes, I actually haven't seen Comptia since he was like "ugh... Micky D's F'd me up". Hope he didn't die! 🙁

OK, you know what's sad? People in IT in my company put magnets on their PCs. I saw them do it, and I was like "you know that's stupid, right?" and they were like "dude, look, nothing happened so chill out".

I'd expect this from users, but I don't expect it from fellow IT personnel. It's just sad.

Magnets are perfect for defragging your hard drive. 8O
Isn't that like a direct quote from the SysInternals website?

Yes, it's right there next to the vaccum cleaner, and CDROM cup holder info.

It just seems absurd that he overclocked a card and it died... did it again... same result... and again a third time. After the first time I'd be looking to try something different... everyone makes mistakes, but at some point you should recognize your mistakes and try something new. I felt my comment was justified.

It sounds like the card needs sexual healing. Go to the "Other" forum and ask for Wingding.

too many great smart azz comments to choose from, this is the best tho;I have been in the basement 😛 and barely escaped intact
Its only that they let you go.

They know you'll return...

Not reading whole thread (looks to be jacked anyway), but just had to say that this post rocks harder than most.

Vacs are only good for one thing you have them on and lying above you to take in all the dust out of the air that you have blown out of a computer with canned compressed air... aka the stuff made for computers... pulp next time you have the urge to clean you video card save yourself the money spend 5 bucks on a can of compressed air...
