Question Problem with CPU OC

Hello,

I recently built a new PC and tried to run the Msi Kobustor but as soon as i start the stress test, it freezes and my pc crashes. I have tried different stress tests.
My CPUs ghz was also jumping around like crazy (from 1 ghz to 4 ghz) but now i saw some forums and changed the power options for CPU in the power plan settings.
But Kombustor is still crashing even if i now got my CPUs ghz better, now it is about 3,6 - 4,1 ghz. 3,6 is btw my CPUs base clock, which makes sense because i put the minimum power limit for the CPU to 100%.
Yeah, i use the CPU-Z. (the program where you see your hardware stats)

CPU: intel i7 9700K
PSU: Evga g3 650w
GPU: Gygabyte RTX 2060
RAM: Corsair vengeance 2x8gb lpx
1TB HDD and 240gb SSD

If you put everything back to stock settings can you run the stress test without issues?

You mean i put the overclocks to zero from MSi Afterburner and take off the XMP from bios?

Leave XMP on but remove all other changes. I would reset the BIOS to default and just switch on XMP.

Sorry for replying so late, but i think that fixed the issue when i decreased the overclock in Msi Afterburner, the overclock wasn't even that high.
