Hello, I have a problem with my RAM. As soon as I start my PC, I have a usage of around 85%, even though I have almost no programs open. Does anyone know what might be causing this and how I can fix it?

Click on the 'Prozesse' (Processes) link to the left of the window on Task Manager. That will tell you what processes/programs are using the resources.

It will show a table with columns such as 'CPU', 'memory', and so on. Click on the title of each column to sort accordingly.

Try booting in Windows Safe Mode and see what happens.

Then boot normally, then ending/closing the processes for Opera GX, Discord, NZXT software, Steelseries software, other streaming software - and see what happens.

Memory use is of course a total sum of everything in that Processes column, so just go through that list and see what's using it. If the numbers in the column don't add up to the total used, then there's a hidden process sucking it all up - perhaps something malicious.

1) Run a virus scan in your system and check for any malicious software that's using up the RAM.

2) Check if Windows is trying to update in the background.

3) Since when did you start having this? Did you install something or had a hardware change?
