Ok so I think my PCI-E slots might me dead. I got my new PC and when I put my 8800gts in the monitor says no signal. So I tried my old 7900 out of my old PC thinking the 8800 was DOA. same thing. Its not the monitor because it works with other computers. So I'm thinking its the PCI slots.I tried it in all 3 none worked. But I noticed that the fan on the card is spinning. Is there a way to tell if they are dead for-sure? Could this be something else?

Did you plug in the auxillary 12v power connectors from the psu to the 8800 video cards? Could be a number of things, but likely not bad PCIE slots. I would reset the CMOS jumper and default the BIOS. Upgrading to the latest BIOS might solve the problem too.

I tryed reseting the CMOS jumper same thing happened. I havnt installed an OS yet so there are no drivers yet. I'm going to try getting a new DVI cable thats all I can think of ATM

Does it beep indicating it gets through POST or just spins fans and do nothing else? Don't see it mentioned so thought I'd make sure it even gets to the part where the vidcard is supposed to do anything 😀

Ok Well I got it to work by taking out the motherboard battery. It worked fine for a few days untill I put the 2nd RAM stick in and now i'm back to no signal. I tryed taking the RAM back out, even using a different stick, resetting tje CMOS jumper, Taking out the MB battery but its still nothing. No beeps nothing but pretty lights and spinning fans

I actually had a similar problem with my P5N32e SLI PLUS, and narrowed it down to my ram being bad which is odd since it was Crucial Ballistix ram and that's supposedly very good ram. The only thing that I could think of is trying your GPU in the other PCI-E slot. Sounds odd but who knows.

Are you getting any beeeeeeeeeeeps?

Nope no beeps at all. I've tryed different Ram and different GPUs in all the slots. I got it to work for a few days by resetting the BIOS battery and using only 1 RAM stick. Then when i thought all was good, i put in the 2nd stick and bamb no post no nothing. i tryed to every thing i did before to get it to work but with no luck

Problem will be the board.

I have gone through 2 of these boards in a week with exact same problem.
Even changed PSU to a 1000w silverstone, swapped graphics cards etc.

RMA the board to the palce you bought it from.

I'm using Gskill DDR2800 PC6400 1GBx2

I had issues with this memory, constant BSOD until i moved the sticks to the black slots. Then just fine.

I'am running 4G's of the ram with no problems set at 4.4.3.5 2T.
