Problem with Permission on folder deletion

Hi - Need some help
New to Win 8.1pro. I keep all my Docs - Photo's, etc on 3 diff drives. I do all the editing on a drive
other than C: Every once in a while after editing I delete the corresponding folder in the 3rd drive and then paste the updated folder in it's place. I then repeat this procedure to the C: drive.

I am the only user and administrator. I attempted to delete the folder to be updated from the C drive and it won't delete, I keep getting a message the i need permission from Toms (Me) Desktop.

This never happened to me before in Win 7, and i can't figure out how to do the deletion

ive run across this in win7 telling me i need admin permission to delete.all i do is press ok or continue and it deletes.it wouldnt be this simple would it?


Ah - Just fig it out. I was attempting the delete under PIcs in the This PC heading, when I went to C: Users, etc the delete went thru. Thanx for replying.
