I've had a problem with my computer that started a few months ago. When I turn off my computer or put it to sleep, all my fans stay on and my motherboard stays lit up. When shutting down, it goes through the entire process of turning off, even turns off the monitors but there still seems to be power going to all the fans and lights in the machine. The only way I have found to fix this problem is to put the computer to sleep, wake it up. After I do this I get a CF code on my board, but it will sleep fine and shut down fine.
Have already wiped and re-installed Windows 7 so shouldn't be a software issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
