Question Problems with Samsung QN55Q80TAFXZA volume hooked up to soundbar and DVR

Good morning. I just purchased a Samsung QN55Q80TAFXZA to replace my Samsung UN49NU8000FXZA. I had a LG LAS551H soundbar and a DVR from my local cable company hooked to my old TV. My range on the bar goes from 0 to 100 and when I would use my soundbar on the previous TV I would usually watch at about 13 with nice, rich results. However with the new TV 13 is nowhere near as loud nor crisp as it would be. I went into self-diagnosis for sound in the TV Menu and the bar put out great volume. I believe I have all the settings optimally set since you are a little limited with an external speaker but I can't figure out why the sound is off. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it. I'm sorry but I forgot to mention that the sound drop off is also happening with my Nintendo Switch and my Fire TV as well. I did try switching out for different HDMI cables but that didn't help.
