Procedure entry point decodepointer

Hello,
I performed a R win xp pro repair to see if it would fix my computer from freezing up. I now get the err NUA.exe- entry point not found. The procedure entry point decodepointer could not be located in the dynamic link library Kernel32.dll. Is there a way to fix this?

NUA.EXE is, I believe, a component of Norton (Norton Update Agent), and if using Norton, you may have to repair it, or contact them.
