Two programs, one being microsoft spyware beta - reverse the way they display
the date. For example, today i tried to install the spyware beta and it came
up with a message that the version expired on "July 5, 1931" (and tells me to
get a newer version from microsoft) when I understand the message should read
"will expire on July 31, 2005". How can I fix this?

It's a beta, it'll do things like that.
