I'm looking forward to the next update. I finnished 2 of those in the last hour, so a 1200 point start to the day. Not that I am likely to get more points today, but that will put me ahead of sparky. ( of course, he will probably pass me again between now and then but oh well)

yeah I ended up with nearly 200 points for the partially completed WU so all is not lost I guess.

Stupid bug.......you go squish now!

I wonder if they reassign those partially completed work units or what?

I can only check 6 of my 7 rigs from work, but with the current cores, I have points totalling 1805 in the works

XP2800+, Abit NF7, 1GB Dual-Channel DDR333, ATI R9800PRO 128MB, TT PurePower 420W, LG DVD+-R/RW

I am about the same. Problem is, most wont finish before fri or sat, and one seems to be getting part way through, and then starting over. My second fastest system belongs to a friend. It's only foling a couple of hours /day. If I could get him to leave it on, it would add a lot. Then you would be in trouble. I could probably get close to flinx's output.

got my other computer folding now, i got it quiet enough i can leave it running 24/7. would be silent if it werent for the hd noise. think i might put my old 5400 rpm drive in it. i dont really do anything on that system anymore. now if i could just convince my roomate that its not going to affect his gaming... then ill have 4 computers folding! one is a p3 at 350 mhz, so it doesnt really count at all. it takes FOREVER to complete a wu.

this is my boomstick!

Okay, now I have the kind of problem everyone wishes they had. I'm getting credit for a 241 point WU, that I'm pretty sure none of my systems did. I also seem to have an extra chip. This morning, when I checked, it showed I had 7 chips working. Just now, it said 8. I know I didn't have a 241 pointer about to finish. Who do I complain to? Who would believe me anyhow? Is someone here doing a me-to? Have they given "me" some other "me"s points?

Well you know somebody may have liked your name but made a mistake on which, if any, team to assign the points to. Wish I had mistakes like that happening to my name.

I can't help being awed by the number of points we have contributed this month. Almost the total for Nov and December combined. It looks like this months output, alone, will more than all previous work and a good chunck of change more. At this pace about 5.5 days till we reach that point.

What I really hate is, now my daily average is higher than yours. There is no way I can keep up that pace, but now I have "great expectations". So what? now I have to go out and buy the parts to upgrade my duron?

Do what I call "Recruiting" My wifes comp is now running it. It is her work laptop. Contains her websites, pictures the works. So I was a little reluctant at first.

My sister in law (wifes sister) has one of my old comps. Nothing special P3 800 /512mn ram G3 TI 200. But it is on most of the time. So that helps.

Next in line is the Daughter in laws laptop, Sons comp is used mostly for gaming so not much use there.(minimize Issue again.)Then I think the parents if things get desperate!!!! Lets see who else has one???....?????

 HINT  HINT

bump

I aint signing nothing!!!

Oh That Hurt. The hand of fate has dealt me a cruel blow at a most inopportune time. 5 x 600 points simultaneously folding and none due for awhile   oh woe is me!

Better get out there and "recruit" as the man says. Even though you have me outnumbered 8 (7) to 5.

P.S. Holy Shoot Batman.. He's had 8 processors folding in the last 7days.

I only know about 7 though. And the P4 @1.6 is about as fast as the 650 duron.
FYI Rick, I already have it running on my wife's, my 2 kids, my work computer, a spare xp2000+ that someone else wants, a friend's Dell, and my main gaming system.
We just bought an old house, so I'm too busy to do much gaming anyhow. The duron is my wife's comp, and she whines a bit about how slow it is. She's taking Excel etc coarses, so she doesn't really need speed so much as stable.
