It could of been activists protesting against their arrangement with foxcon and the resulting treatment of their workers. It could be nerds telling apple to stop their stupid anti competition campaign buying patients and trying to sue anyone that produces a phone. It could be one of the company's apple has targeted and tried to put our of business. It could be those iphone people complaining about their crappy product and cheap glass. It could be the 99% protesting about corporate greed (apple is the perfect example of this)

[citation][nom]amk-aka-phantom[/nom]Samsung can't compete? LOL. They're just not good at indoctrinating their customers like Apple is, otherwise their stuff is kick-ass.[/citation]

I never said SAMSUNG cant compete. Im saying if A company cannot compete with another, you shouldnt insult or cry about it - you should do a better job getting people into liking your product like apple does. That said, i own both samsung and apple products. So settle down and read things a little better.

And Samsung doesn't allow their employees to use an iPhone. :) I have friend working for Samsung as salesman and he said they are not allowed to use an iPhone, but any other phone will do.

So a lot of Samsung employees have to hide their iPhones at work. LOL, that's funny.

[citation][nom]rumandcoke[/nom]couldn't do this in New York out of fear of pepper spray and police brutalization... actually, make that USA not NY[/citation]
...pepper spray? In front of an Apple store? In the US? ...police would likely use live ammunition.

I had an argument with an Apple customer, talking about how my screen on my HP laptop broke, and he said that it can't happen to Apples products becuase its an Apple. WTF? These idiots put apple products on high up pedistols.

[citation][nom]northwestern[/nom]So because I despise Apple, you automatically assume use Android?Your detective skills are flawed.[/citation]
He's probably still a deputy somewhere... he never made it to detective.

I love my iPhone and the new iPad, so what's wrong with that? I may not like other Apple devices and I do prefer PC over Mac - Why you people are so worked up with this anti Apple, anti Microsoft, anti Android or anti whatever it is that may not please your individual preference? Constructive inputs and criticisms are better received rather than hater remarks. Wake up? Wake up to what?! Wake up! you're bunch of adults wearing blacks, silly signs, prob loud as hell, disturbing others for what again? There goes the priorities in life.. No company can please every consumer out there - that's a fact, accept it and move on to better things in life fellas..

No, because you moronically single out apple for what every electronic maker is doing. Of course you fail to realize this which is not so surprising....

[citation][nom]greghome[/nom]2000 years from now, Allah would be viewed as a myth like Zeus and Steve will be the new Jesus.[/citation]
Using your logic, Jesus should be viewed as a myth now, so then why do people still view him as Jesus? Your point is invalid.

I don't blame Samsung, if I had my own company, I wouldn't allow them to use iCraps either..

... so cheep... may be effective, but cheep... how this should impact apple's product ecosystem that 'just works'? i'm a 90% PC, and 10% Apple because of iPhone4S... and must say... it's just a good, simple, understandable product... and i dig the philosophy behind apple products and how it impacted the whole industry... i still use PC because it's cheaper and more universal... i never would buy a Mac as my main PC... but i understand them, who do... so...? just do awesome tech, and you will not need such stupid mob thing... because this action makes the participants any less brainwashed, then apple users... the sad thing, that they are just stupid sheep in corporations hands... and... samsung uses foxconn too...

I don't get the Apple hate, but that's okay, it has no bearing on anything...when you're on top people...somewhere...are going to dislike you. Is there the belief that if ...say...Asus or Dell were doing really well and were in Apple's position they'd be doing business differently than Apple is doing it?

My only point is that people here seem to dislike Apple and their products simply and only because they're made by Apple. Now, don't get me wrong. Whether or not people here dislike Apple is pretty close to irrelevant (the ratio of people that dislike Apple and their products in the world to the ratio of people that don't feel that way is almost not worth mentioning) it just seems funny to hear sometimes.

Is voting with your wallet not enough?

You don't get it. What REALLY pisses everyone off is that Apple is indeed NO DIFFERENT from everyone else, yet they claim to be.

Phantom, every manufacturer claims to be different from their competitors. ...and surprisingly they claim to be better than their competitors. They claim to offer superior products than their competitors too. I think if one of Apple's competitors were in Apple's market position they'd not be doing business a whole lot differently than Apple. I could be very wrong. Perhaps Samsung would be saying, "No, we're not different. We're the same as our competitors, we don't make different stuff and our quality is the same as our competitors too. ...buy our stuff anyways."

Now, yes, I know I'm stretching things to make a point and since its morning here and my coffee has not taken effect I may not be doing a very good job of making my case...but you get the idea.

I do. But take a look at Apple's website. "You can buy a PC and upgrade it or buy a Mac and upgrade your entire computing experience. Revolutionary iPhone 4S, blah blah." etc. Samsung or Asus do not claim to produce something different than others. They claim to have better products. Not different.
