Well Pc are not design for only gaming while the ps3 is mainly for that and multimedia. Yes the Cell processor is far ahead in pc but what it can do better check out the game on the ps3, nothing interesting there really. You can do Folding hole with your ps3... Maybe if you could install vista on it with fully hardware support it would be interesting but still. Lets wait for DX10 gaming and talk it back.

So we really don't care. we don't care. we stopped caring a year ago. You're just being annoying.
 
If the hypervisor allowed graphics hardware acceleration in Linux then it might be true but for now its not true. The upconverting of DVD's is cool though.
 
I strongly disagree with people that say that a PC is better suited for gaming than a console. First, look at the price/experience ratio. With any PC you would have to spend much much more to get close to what you get with a console. Then you have to boot, reboot, hook up your PC to a TV if you want to play in the living room... the PC is just a bad gaming experience. I played PC games for a long time but since I bought a console I enjoy games much more than before. Read my recent post if you want to get more ideas about all the drawbacks of using a PC to play.

Whatever!!!

You just don't have anything smarter to say. Tell me where you can buy a PC that peforms better than a PS3 and I'll go and buy one. For $500 you get Blu-ray, outstanding graphic capabilities, a decent size HD, HDMI and you can even install Linux and do small computer related tasks, like e-mail, Internet browsing and things like this.

With $500 you don't even get a decent graphic card and I'm not mentioning the fact that before you start playing you would have to install drivers, fix problems, run the anti-virus. You have no idea, no idea of what you're talking about!
