HI guys, I'm building my first rig and unfortunately my psu cables do not fit my mATX board grrr. I'm not too pleased with my psu anyway (cheap crap) so I'm thinking of buying a new one. So my question is this:
Could you suggest a decent but not expensive (if poss) 500W psu with LONG cables....dont want to experience the same thing twice ;)
thanks in advance, Jazz

or just increase the length yourself... (just remeber to solder the wires, and wrap them securely with electrical tape, so they don't short out.

I agree 100%. I just meant extensions are available if the new unit he buys doesn't reach all the connectors.

Good PSU's: Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling. There are many other quality ones out there, but these are consistently good! Newegg, Amazon, Pcpartpicker, tigerdirect, and Microcenter.

Good Luck
