Hello all,

I have an issue with my PC. My last RIG was:

1 ASUS M5A99X EVO
1 AMD PHENOM II X6 1090T @3.7mhz
16GB RAM DDR3 (Kingston HyperX blu)
2 RADEON HD 6870 CROSSFIRE @945/1125
1 500GB HHD SATA
1 PSU COOLER MASTER GX750
2 EXTERNAL USB HHD
4 CASE FANS
1 CORSAIR H80

IT WAS OK BUT THEN I UPGRADE MY MOBO FOR A CROSSHAIR V FORMULA.

NOW I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE PC BECAUSE WHEN I START PLAYING ANY GAME ON CROSSFIRE THE PC FREEZES, AND THEN I HAVE THE BSOD. I TRIED TO PLAY GAMES WITHOUT CROSSFIRE AND WITH THE FACTORY DEFAULTS ON THE GPU AND IT RUNS OK

DO I NEED A HIGHER PSU? WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? ANY HELP?

REGARDS.

A pair of 6870's needs 20 - 25 amps. Figure another 10 - 12 amps for an OC'd CPU and another 80 - 100 watts for the rest of the system. That is somewhere between 440 and 550 watts.

Your GX750, if properly working, is more than adequate to power your XF'd system.

Thank you so much, i was thinking on buy a powerful PSU but now i can figure out this is a RAM issue.

I don't know for sure what it could be, i'd run windows memory diagnostic and it says my ram it's OK.

so, what else could be? is there a program or something to check gpu integrity? i mean, to check if there is something wrong with any of the two video cards?
