Will be adding a second gpu to my system. Not enough time to properly research what psu I should buy, so I will follow advice blindly.
Please share your wisdom.
My specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 5820K 6x 3.30GHz -oc-ed to 4.4
CPU water cooling: Cooler Master Nepton 240M
Board: MSI X99A Gaming 7
GPU:Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti Strix OC Aktiv PCIe 3.0 x16
GPU:Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti Strix OC Aktiv PCIe 3.0 x16 <- I'm adding this one
2 ssd's
Current PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 750W ATX <- makes crackling noise under load. probably garbage quality.
I am currently looking at this PSU: CORSAIR HX1000I. 1000w.
If I am not mistaken the two gpu's consume tops 375w. That will leave 250 for the rest of the system. Would that be enough?
