[SOLVED] PSU Problems, please help me

I recently bought a Rx 5700 xt and matching it with my old i5 6600k. The PSU I have right now doesn't have a 8 pin connector and only has a 6 pin, which I think it's causing the HDMI to have no signal because it can't power the GPU. Should I buy a new PSU or get adapters or something.

A good quality 500 watt psu should be able to handle it easily but do not get any adapters just get a new psu. Adapters could have to much power ect and short/burn. You are going to need a 8. Pin for that gpu.
The in I daily drive and use is the Corsair CS650M but seasonic,Asus,evga all make good psu’s

its designed not to work if all of the connectors are not plugged
never get adaptors , as the molex cables arent designed to handle that load
buy a new quality psu , where are you located and what is your budget ?

Yes I do. On my old gpu it said plug in all pcie connectors on the blank screen. The gpu is not getting all the power it needs to run.
