I recently sold my R9 270x GPU on the internet. However, 2 days after the buyer got it he sent it back arguing it was defective because his PSU shorted out.
I naively accepted to give him a refund and get the GPU back.
When it came back this morning, I plugged it in and nothing seems immediately wrong with it. The fans spin and the image output is flawless. Been playing The Witcher 3 for about an hour.
My question is, could the PSU short-circuit have permanently or temporarily damaged the GPU in any other way? Thanks in advance.
