What are the limits on EVGA CORPORATION's liability?
"IN NO EVENT SHALL EVGA CORPORATION BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR FOR, WITHOUT LIMITATION, COMMERCIAL LOSS OF ANY SORT; LOSS OF USE, TIME, DATA, REPUTATION, OPPORTUNITY, GOODWILL, PROFITS OR SAVINGS; INCONVENIENCE; INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT."

If you purchase an EVGA 500B and it takes everything with it and you have the parts and prrof. Then they will reimburse you

You keep saying this. We have yet to see any 'proof' (beyond what some youtube maybe got).

those white and b units will just stop working after a year.
true they have got some bang products that are modeless that comes with old prebuild pcs.

I don't have any experience with brands replacing people's components, but most of the "A PSU fried my X component!" problems aren't actually the power supply's fault, but the part's that got fried. If something inside of an SSD, graphics card, or other component shorted, than the PSU gladly provides the infinite power that the damaged component "asks" for. And then fire starts. But to many people it looks like the PSU itself failed and gave too much power to the burnt component.

I'm not saying it "never happens".
But it "will happen" is a bit of a strong statement, backed up by nada.

So true.

I mean, them stopping working after a year is fine (provided they dont drag another component with them) since their warranty on them EVGA white models is 3 years.

Not a PSU but I do know Corsair replaced components damaged by a faulty AIO cooler, but I'm too lazy to look for proof.

First thing first is check if all his other components are still working then I plan to lay out the info for his Dad to think over. Get a cheaper model, and you could be facing the same trouble in a years time, and risk potential damage to other components. Go with a mid range 750w one and be a lot safer and have some leeway when it comes to power demands or go for a top notch one and have it for years, and it will last multiple builds.

Yah If you've never heard of a PSU destroying a system and having the manufacturer replacing everything it killed including the PSU itself, then you've been living under a rock 😀 . To think that you guys know some stuff i dont, I'm surprised you've never heard of this.....

Edit: Corsair or any other good brand like Deepcool would have done it for anyone else. It's not just because he was famous. As long as you have proof and you didn't cause it then your fine.

Hello again. I saw a good deal and ordered Corsair RM750x. I haven't bought all my items yet tho. So I wouldn't be able to test it right away.
But if you have any questions that doesn't require test, I'd be happy to answer.

Not to sound offensive, but I highly doubt there's any questions someone could ask you that aren't already known to us through the extensive reviews.

I'm not even finding the black version anywhere, let alone the white version and it looks like it's going to be $120, the NZXT is 65 to my door(which by the way only the 700w has been totally dismissed as junk, the 550 has good reviews, maybe NZXT just cheaper out on the 700w). And the Silencer mk III has only a 3 year warranty and will cost me $100.

I'm going to have to get a M12ii and just paint it I guess. Talk about tacky. That or take my chances with the 550w Hale82 V2.

The Hale 90 is also white I believe and better than the 82. But for those prices you'd be way better off with a Seasonic Snow. Might be cheaper and far easier to just build a shroud for the entire psu area like the Corsair H440 has and hide everything under a white cover.

I really don't know, as the reviews that I have been able to find for them say that they are pretty good units, worthy of being in tier 2 at least from the Aris and Oklahoma Wolf reviews that I've read.

The Prime 850 may very well be the best power supply on the market.

Hi Whats your opinions on the G640M Its worst scoing on Jonnyguru was the value, but I find its reasonablly priced in the UK, and apart form that everything else was decent scores. Both alternative PSUs he mentions at the end of the review are a lot dearer, compared to it over here anyway.

What is the price on that unit?
