no information on it, I think thats for a reason where are u from? whats your cpu gpu?

Full system spec:
Intel DX58SO with Xeon X5660 6core 2.8ghz
12GB DDR3 1600 (running 1333) RAM (Standard unbranded RAM)
ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB GPU
2xSSD
2xHDD (7200RPM SATA)
1xDVD+RW
Recommended PSU minimum as per psu calculator online shows 430W or better.
I add 20% onto that for the fact that most PSU's aren't 100% efficient = close to 550W
Then to add a little more for keeping PSU cool and quiet = 650W or better that I want in there.
I am from the UK.
Budget is limited so I am looking for best option I can find that is NEW.
Link to more info on the PSU I found on fleebay: http://www.aone.co.uk/ProdInfo.ASP?ProductID=4974

That's a newer PSU 2015, and looks good from this review.

That's not a PSU review, that is a shopping website.

You are right, I can't find anything on that particular PSU.

Sometimes shopping websites at least have customer reviews (even though those are not reliable), but this one doesn't have any yet. Also:
Fully protection circuit - Complete protections with OVP/UVP/OPP/SCP/SIP.

Setting aside the grammar issues in the description, where is the Over Current Protection (OCP), and what kind of protection is SIP anyway?

Overcurrent protection takes a cluster of wires and if the power on those wires exceeds a particular point the unit shuts off.

SIP stands for surge and inrush protection which just means it uses a MOV/TVS diodes and a thermistor like most PSUs do but they don't make a marketing point over it.

That's not quite what I meant. I wasn't looking for a definition of OCP. I was expressing concern over why the unit claimed to have "complete protections" when OCP was missing from the list. Thank you for explaining SIP, though.

This is a discussion thread not a "what fire hazard should I put in my computer thread". If you need a new power supply then start a new thread. We're now on page 2 of crap vs crap and a bunch of copy/ paste that isn't helping anyone.

Dainel_542 - start a new thread. List complete specs and where you're buying. If you want to use a fire hazard no one is stopping you.

Goldstone77 - stop copy / pasting meaningless marketing material and half baked ideas.

A lot of power supplies advertise having OCP when they don't; they just have OPP. General rule of thumb is a lot of single-rail units lack any form of OCP. Whether OCP is present on the minor rails or not depends. But OCP is useless for the 12V rail if it's a single-rail unit and OPP is present since they essentially do the same thing.

But I think OCP should definitely be present always on the minor rails. All it takes is a short that is unrecognized by SCP and then something gets ruined without it.

A lot of brands have falsely advertised OCP, even Seasonic. Only way to really understand an OCP implementation is to see what some professional says about it or by simply looking at the model number of the protection circuit I believe.

I can only answer basics, though. Start getting into the internals and I get lost. Hopefully in 3 years when I complete my bachelors in computer/electrical engineering degree I'll be able to understand this stuff better.

1stplayer Malaysia so far has been selling mechanical keyboards and a few other odds and ends like cases and case fans. Considering they have so far just dabbled in pc stuff, I'd not be trusting on anything as complex as a psu, I can't even find a listing for that psu as is. Compared to the M12-II 620, I'd be inclined to say it's a no brainer, Seasonic is not only extremely well established, but that platform in particular has been well established as a quality psu. Until further info and testing/reviews are done on the Steampunk, I'd not trust it to be a paperweight.

No need to SHOUT, most of us are not deaf (blind), it's rude.
The SeaSonic M12-II 620w is an older, group regulated design that's proven reliable and quality. The 1stplayer Fire rose 650 hasn't been reviewed, by anyone. It's a total unknown. I could care less about its stats and claims, those look pretty on paper, reality can and usually is totally different.

There is no way to compare an unknown psu with one that's certified very good. It could be great, it could be junk. Nobody knows.

I notice a number of discrepancies in the specs between the lazada.co.th link and the 1stplayer.com link. The fan grills look to be different colors as well. I don't think those are describing the same power supply.
